Govt Of Gujarat

Our office is located at D 20 Shantidayal Apartment. We are right near the HB Kapadia School in the Memnagar area. It is a bit of a funny place for a government office. It feels just like someone’s home. We work for the Govt Of Gujarat and handle a lot of local paperwork from this flat. In the mornings, things get very loud. This is because of the school traffic and parents dropping off their kids. After that, the neighborhood settles down. We aren't here to make big changes or anything like that. The focus is always on the lists and documents that need our attention. The rooms are filled with metal cupboards. They are stuffed with files from years ago. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes it’s a struggle. More boxes arrive every week. Most of the staff has been here for a long time. We know each other's habits and families. Usually, we bring our own tiffins and eat together in the small kitchen area. Ahmedabad is a hot city. We really value the shade we get in this part of town. There is no high-tech equipment here. We just have a few computers and a lot of pens. Big words don't really fit how we describe our day. It’s just about showing up at 10. We make sure we haven't missed any signatures. It’s a simple, honest way to earn a living while helping the local community with their needs.
