Global Express

Our place is on the fourth floor of Abhishek Plaza, Room 405. We are right behind Nav Gujarat College on Ashram Road. It is a very central spot, which is good for a business like Global Express. Being on Ashram Road means we are right in the middle of all the action in Ahmedabad. Most of our day is spent dealing with packages and couriers coming in and out. The elevator in the plaza can be a bit slow, so we often find ourselves taking the stairs when we are in a hurry. We handle a lot of different kinds of deliveries, some local and some going further away. It is mostly a lot of sorting, tagging, and making sure the addresses are correct. Sometimes people come in frustrated because their package is late, and we just have to talk them through it. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything; it is just an office full of boxes and printers. The noise from the college nearby is something we have gotten used to over time. We aren't a huge corporation with thousands of employees. We are just a small group of people working out of a busy plaza. We try to keep things simple and just focus on getting the day's work finished before the sun goes down. It is a fast-paced environment, but we like the energy of it. We just do our job and go home.
