If you head into the Mahatma Market area in Gheekanta, you’ll find us on the third floor. We’re in No. 304, which is part of the Nagar Sethno Vando. The market is always a bit of a madhouse, honestly. There are people everywhere, cycles pushed into corners, and everyone is always in a huge hurry. Getting up to the third floor is a bit of a climb, but it gets us away from the worst of the noise on the ground level. Our space is pretty basic. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, and we usually need a wooden stool to reach the stuff at the very top. The lighting isn't the best in the halls, but we know where everything is by heart now. We spend most of the morning unpacking stuff that arrived late the night before. The air can get a bit stuffy in the summer months, so we keep the windows open even if the dust comes in from the street. It’s a no-frills kind of place. We don't have a fancy office with nice chairs; we just have a table where we handle the bills and eat our lunch. Customers who come here usually know exactly what they want, so there’s not much sitting around. We keep moving, keep sorting, and keep the shop going. It’s a tough environment but it’s home for us during the day. We just focus on the work.
