Getax Ocean Trades Pte Lted is mostly about managing the logistics and the paperwork that comes with trading across the water. We aren’t a big corporate office with glass walls; we are just a small team working out of an apartment building. Sometimes the elevator is a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs. The lake is a good place to walk during lunch when we need to clear our heads from all the shipping numbers. Ahmedabad gets really hot, so we’re grateful for the shade the building provides. Our neighbors in Shalibh Apartment are mostly families, so it feels very grounded and local. We don't have any fancy mission statements or marketing teams. We just focus on the trades and making sure the documentation is right. It can be a lot of pressure when things are delayed at the port, but we just take it one day at a time.
