G. Aromas

G. Aromas is located right in the middle of Madhupura Market on Shahibaug Road. Our shop is at M-37. If you know the market, you know it’s always crowded and full of life. It can be a bit overwhelming with all the smells and sounds, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels normal. We deal with various aromatic products. Our space is small and every shelf is packed with something. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have a lot of stock coming in. We don't have a fancy display window or anything. People usually find us by word of mouth or by just walking through the market. The air in here always smells like a mix of different things, which is actually quite nice. Most days are spent talking to customers and weighing out products. Instead of fancy equipment, we just use some old scales and bags. It’s a traditional way of doing business, and it works for us. The market can be dusty and loud, but there’s a good energy to it. Early mornings are when we open, and we stay until the market starts to quiet down. It’s hard work, but we enjoy being part of the daily bustle on Shahibaug Road. We don't really have a lunch break; we just eat when there's a gap between customers. That's market life. It gets hot in the summer but we have a small fan that helps.
