Freelancer

I’m over here in Ahmedabad, specifically in Old G Ward, Kubernagar. This is where I handle my work as a freelancer. It’s a pretty busy neighborhood, but I’ve got a small corner set up where I can focus. I started doing this a while back because I wanted to handle things on my own terms. Most days are just spent at the desk, looking at the screen and getting through whatever tasks come in. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a regular place with a table, a chair, and a laptop. My address is 54 Old G Ward, and if you know the 382340 area, it’s easy enough to find. I don't really have a big team or people running around. It is just me working through the list of things people need help with. Some days it is quiet, other days there is a lot of noise outside from the street, but that is just how it is living and working in Gujarat. I don't try to make it sound like more than it is. It's just a guy doing his job from home. Sometimes I grab tea from the stall nearby when I need a break. That’s pretty much the whole story. No big corporate meetings here, just me and my work. It works for me and keeps things simple. I’ve been at this for some time now and it feels normal.
