Freelancer

We operate out of Athreyapuram Second Street in Chennai. It’s a small place at Number 8/1, tucked away in a corner of the city that isn't too flashy. We’ve been set up here for some time now, just getting our daily work done. Chennai gets pretty hot, so we spend most of our time inside with the fans going, just focusing on whatever project is on the desk. It’s not a big company with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us working together. We chose this spot because it’s quiet enough to actually think, but still close to the main parts of town. We don’t really go in for those big mission statements or long-winded explanations of what we do. We just do the work. The building itself is pretty old, but it serves our purpose just fine. Most days start with coffee and a look at the to-do list, and then we just get to it. Living in Tamil Nadu, you learn to appreciate a steady pace of life, and that is how we run things here. We aren't looking to change the world, just to do a good job for the people who hire us. Sometimes neighbors pop in to say hello, which gives it a nice local feel. It’s just a regular workspace for regular people who happen to be freelancers. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that yet.
