Being in an apartment complex means our business, Free, feels a bit more like a neighborly thing than a strictly professional one. We know the security guards and the people living on the other floors. It’s a good spot because Navrangpura is close to everything, but our specific street stays relatively calm. The office is basically one large room where we’ve set up our computers and some chairs for guests. It’s a bit cluttered at times, mostly with old notebooks and chargers, but we know where everything is. We don't go in for fancy branding or marketing strategies. We just do the work we’ve always done. Some days it’s just one person here, and other days the whole team is cramped in together. It gets quite warm in Ahmedabad, as everyone knows, so the AC is usually running pretty hard. We like the local feel of being in Motilal Park. It makes the work feel more real when you’re right there in the middle of a residential neighborhood. We don't have a big front desk or a waiting area. If you come by, you just walk in and say hello. That’s how we’ve always done it. It is just a simple, honest setup.
