Franklin Templeton Investments

Our office is located in the Akashsagar Apartments, at unit 202 on the 2nd Lane of Panchvati in Ambawadi, Ahmedabad. It is a residential building, so it doesn't feel like a traditional office at all. We have converted the rooms of the apartment into our workspace for handling the work of Franklin Templeton Investments. It is a very homey environment, with our desks pushed up against the walls and folders stored in the kitchen cabinets. There isn't a big sign on the outside of the building, so visitors usually have to look for the apartment number. Ahmedabad can get incredibly hot in the summer months, so we spend a lot of time making sure the fans are working and the water cooler is full. The lane outside is usually quiet, but you can hear the sounds of the city just a block away. We don't have any fancy boardrooms or reception areas. We just sit together in the main room and get through the work that needs doing. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, and we have to walk up to the second floor, which keeps us moving I suppose. It is a very simple and unpretentious way to run an office. We have been here for a good while now and we are comfortable with this local setup. We just show up every day, deal with the investment papers, and keep the operation running smoothly without any unnecessary extras.
