Eyecon Micro Surgical

Our workshop is located at 9, Hariom Industrial Estate. We are situated near the Swaminarayan Row House and right behind the Wonder Point building in the Amraiwadi area. The door is marked as H. No. 8 if you are looking for the exact entrance. It is a relatively small place for the type of detailed work we do. We make various surgical instruments, so everything is very tiny and requires a lot of close attention. It is not like the heavy engineering or metal shops you see nearby. We use a lot of small hand tools and magnifying glasses throughout the day. The industrial estate is always humming with noise from all the other businesses, but inside our unit, we try to keep things a bit more quiet and focused. Amraiwadi is a very crowded part of the city, and just getting here in the morning can be a real struggle with all the traffic. We have been in this specific unit for several years now. It is just a basic industrial room with some sturdy workbenches and a few specialized grinders. We do not have any fancy displays or a showroom for people to look at. Most of our finished instruments go straight to the hospitals or to the distributors. We spend the whole day checking the sharp edges of blades and the grip of forceps. It is very tedious work, but we have stuck with it.
