Ernst Young India

Our office is situated at Plot No 340 in Sector 30, Gandhinagar. If you know the layout of Gandhinagar, you know that Sector 30 is one of those places with wide roads and a bit more breathing room than most other Indian cities. We’ve been operating Ernst Young India from this plot for some time now. The work we do here is mostly about numbers, taxes, and making sure the accounts for our various clients are all in order. It’s a quiet environment, which really helps because this kind of work requires a lot of concentration and staying focused for long hours. The building isn't some tall skyscraper; it’s a practical structure that fits into the local neighborhood. We start our mornings with a quick check of the emails and then we dive straight into the spreadsheets. There isn't much in the way of corporate theater here. We don't have those fancy lounge areas or high-tech vending machines you see on TV. We just have our desks, our computers, and a small area where we make tea. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad compared to some of the bigger metro areas. We like the pace of life here in Gandhinagar. It allows us to focus on the tasks at hand without too many distractions. Sector 30 is a good base for us, and we’ve become quite used to the daily rhythm of the neighborhood.
