Our place is at Plot 436 in Phase II of the GIDC Estate in Vatva. We are quite close to the Vinzol railway crossing, so you can hear the trains passing by pretty often throughout the day. It’s a typical industrial estate vibe here with lots of chemical and engineering units around us. We handle instrumentation and control systems. The building is a simple concrete structure. Inside, it’s mostly workbenches with soldering irons, testers, and various electronic components scattered around. It’s a bit technical, but we try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. We don’t wear suits or anything like that; usually, it’s just work clothes that can get a bit of grease or solder on them. The sunlight hits the front window in the morning and makes it quite warm. We have a small storage area in the back for the sensors and controllers we keep in stock. Sometimes we have to go out to other factories to look at their setups, but most of our time is spent right here at the bench. The roads in Vatva can get quite muddy when it rains, so we usually have a few umbrellas sitting by the door. It’s a straightforward operation. We just take the orders, put the panels together, and test everything until it works the way it’s supposed to. No big fuss about it.
