Nirali Trends

We are up on the first floor of the Himalaya Mall. It is shop number 216. We are right near the Indraprasth Tower on the Drive In road. The mall is okay but it gets really crowded on the weekends. We open up the shop at ten and turn on all the lights. Nirali Trends is where we spend our whole day. We spend a lot of time looking out at the people walking by in the hallway. Some people just look through the window and don't come in. Others stay for an hour trying things on. We try to keep the hangers tidy but they always end up mixed up by lunch. The air conditioning in here is sometimes way too cold. We have to bring sweaters to work even when it is hot outside. My sister helps me out here on Tuesdays. We get new stuff in big boxes and have to unpack everything ourselves. It's a lot of folding and tagging. The Drive In area outside is always full of cars and noise. Sometimes it's hard to find a parking spot in the morning. We know the security guys at the mall door quite well. They've been working here as long as we have. We keep a small electric kettle in the back for making coffee. The mall music plays on a loop and you eventually get used to it. It's just a regular shop. We sell what we have and talk to whoever walks in.
