Varun Marketing

Varun Marketing is located in the basement of the Himalaya Mall. We are in the section marked as Basement-1. Since we are underground, we do not have any windows or natural light. It stays cooler down here during the hot months, which is nice. It is a bit of a walk to find us if you are coming from the main mall entrance, but there are signs for the basement levels. We use this space to keep our stock and handle our marketing work. It is not like the bright, fancy stores on the floors above us. We have simple metal shelving and some old wooden desks. There is a constant humming sound from the mall’s machinery, but we have gotten used to it. Most of our day is spent on the phone or dealing with people who come down to pick up their orders. We are more of a central point for our business than a place for people to walk in and shop. We have a small corner where we make tea and coffee during the day. The floor is just plain concrete and the walls are painted a simple grey. We have been in this basement spot since the mall first opened. We know the security people and the others who work in the basement. It is a small community down here. We just focus on our work and try to keep everything organized in our little corner of the mall.
