We are over here at Sujata Flats, right in G 2. If you know the T B Hospital Road in Mehsana, you probably passed by us many times without thinking much about it. It is a busy spot, especially near Ruturaj Flats. Most mornings start with the sound of traffic picking up and the chai wallah setting up nearby. We have been in this space for a while now. The walls are a bit plain, and the desk in the corner has a wobble that we just learned to live with by folding up a piece of cardboard under the leg. People come in and out, mostly locals who live in the neighborhood or folks heading toward the hospital. It is not a fancy office with big glass windows, but it works for what we do. We spend a lot of our time looking at screens and sorting through papers. Sometimes the fan makes a clicking noise when it is on high, so we usually keep it on medium unless it is really hot outside. The light in the hallway flickers once in a while, and we keep saying we will fix it, but then the day gets busy and we forget again. It is just how things go here in Mehsana. We like being part of this little corner of the city. It feels real. There is always someone stopping by to ask for directions or just to say hello while they wait for their ride.
