We have been running Dhruv Counseling Services for a while now from our spot at B 8 Janta Nagar. It’s right here in Chandkheda, which is a busy part of Ahmedabad if you know the area. The zip code is 382424 for anyone looking us up on a map. Our office isn’t anything fancy, just a few rooms where people can sit and talk through whatever is bothering them. We started this because we saw a need in Gujarat for someone to just listen. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud and the traffic outside on the main road makes a lot of noise, but we make it work. Most days, we are just here from morning until the evening, keeping the files in order and waiting for the next person to knock on the door. It is a simple setup really. There is a small desk and some chairs that aren't the newest but they are comfortable enough for a long conversation. People from around the neighborhood stop by, and we’ve gotten to know the local shops pretty well too. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Word usually just gets around by people telling their neighbors. If you’re looking for the place, just head toward the Janta Nagar section and look for the B 8 sign. It’s easy to miss if you are driving too fast. We just try to help out where we can.
