Dhirani Traders

Our place is right at Plot No.1432 in Madura. If you know the area, we are directly opposite the Shri Kastbhanjan Hanuman Temple. It’s a busy spot, especially on certain days when the temple gets a lot of visitors. You can hear the bells and the traffic from Shahibaug almost all day long. Dhirani Traders has been operating from this corner for some time. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we keep our stock and handle the paperwork. We spend most of our hours moving items around and talking to the drivers who pull up out front. It gets crowded on the street sometimes, so we have to be quick with loading. The guys working here have been with us a while and we just get on with the tasks at hand. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes things slow down, but we keep the fans going. It is mostly about keeping track of what is coming in and what is going out. There is always a lot of dust from the road, so we are constantly sweeping. We don't do much in the way of big meetings. It is usually just us standing around the desk or out by the entrance checking the manifests. It’s a regular trading business, nothing more and nothing less. We like being near the temple because it feels like a landmark for everyone around here. The tea stall down the road is where we usually go when we need a break from the noise. We have a few old wooden chairs near the front for when customers want to sit and talk.
