Designer Purse

My workspace is located at B-9 Shraddha Apartments, right by the Shyama Prasad Overbridge. It’s a handy location because people can find it easily, though the traffic near the bridge can get pretty loud during the rush. I started Designer Purse because I liked working with my hands and seeing what I could make with some leather and fabric. It’s not a huge factory or anything like that. It’s more of a practical setup where we cut the patterns and stitch things together. Most days, there are bits of thread and scrap material all over the floor. We try to keep it tidy, but when you're busy, things just pile up. The apartment is quiet enough for focusing, but you still hear the city outside. I don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything. I just have my sewing machines and the work tables. Neighbors sometimes pop their heads in to see what we are making. We make bags that actually hold things and don't fall apart after a week. It’s honest work. Sometimes the needles break or the zippers get stuck, and we have to start over. That’s just part of the day. It’s a simple operation, really. Just a few of us here trying to keep up with the orders we get. We take it one day at a time and focus on the stitching. It isn't much, but it's what we know.
