Dawnay Day Av Securities Pvt Ltd has an office in Ahmedabad too, over in the Lake View Society in Vastrapur. It is located at O 9. Being near the lake is quite nice, especially in the evenings when it cools down a bit. This office is one of our regular spots where we handle our securities work. It isn't a massive operation. We have a few desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of computers. The society is mostly quiet, which helps us focus on the numbers and the documents we have to process. We have been here for a while, and the routine is pretty much the same every day. We come in, check the messages, and start on the pile of work. We don't really do anything for show. The office is functional and that is about it. We’ve got a small pantry area where we make tea. Sometimes we walk over to the lake for a bit of air during lunch. It’s a simple setup in a good part of town. We don't talk about big goals or anything like that. We just make sure the records are correct and the day goes smoothly. The people here are friendly and we all know our roles. It’s just a normal, everyday office where people put in their time and do their jobs without any fuss.
