Sai Enterprise

Sai Enterprise is located right in the heart of the old city in Ahmedabad. Our office is in Sairam House, which is tucked into Padma Pole near Vadigam. It is a very traditional area near the Dariapur Gate, so the streets are narrow and always full of people and scooters. Working out of an old building like this has its own set of challenges, like the steep stairs and the way the heat stays trapped in the brickwork during the summer months. It is a bustling neighborhood where everyone knows each other. Inside, the space is packed with files and samples of the stuff we handle. We are more of a trading and supply office, so there is a lot of talking on the phone and writing out invoices by hand. It is not a quiet place at all. You can hear the sounds of the market and the temple bells from the window. We have been at this address for a long time and the building has a lot of character, even if it is a bit cramped. People come in and out all day, sometimes just for a quick glass of water or to ask for directions in the maze of the old city. We don't use much technology beyond what is absolutely necessary. It is a very human way of doing business, face to face and with plenty of conversation.
