You can find Ak Transcharger Pvt. Ltd. over in Phase-1 of the GIDC estate. We’re at Plot No. 4 in the Manthan Estate, right near that SBI Bank and across from Maruti Estate. It’s a busy corner of the industrial zone. We deal with a lot of heavy electrical equipment, specifically chargers and transformers. The warehouse is usually full of crates and metal parts waiting to be put together. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We have a small office upstairs, but the real work happens on the floor below. There’s a lot of testing involved, so you’ll often hear the hum of electricity or the beep of some meter. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and we’ve gotten to know all the neighbors, from the bank staff to the guys at the other manufacturing units. The lunch break is usually the quietest time, when everyone sits outside for a bit of air. Managing the logistics of getting these big chargers out to clients is a daily puzzle. Sometimes the trucks show up late, or we’re waiting on a specific component, but we always find a way to make it work. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s steady and keeps us busy from morning till night. We just try to keep up with the orders and make sure everything is built solid before it leaves the gate.
