D I Somaiya Associates is based over at D 106 Arjunratna Appt. We’re in Nrcp Nagar, specifically the Bhuyangdev area of Ahmedabad. It’s a busy part of the city but our office inside the apartment complex stays relatively calm. We’ve been here for quite some time now. Most of our work involves consulting and helping people with their various business needs. Ahmedabad is a place where everyone has a business or is starting one, so there is always something to do. We aren't a huge firm with dozens of employees. It’s just us in a small, comfortable room with some files and a printer. We like it that way because we can actually talk to the people who come in. You won't find any fancy coffee machines here, just a kettle and some biscuits. We started this practice because we saw many local shop owners struggling with their paperwork. It’s not easy to keep track of everything when you are busy running a shop. We try to make it easier for them. The building is easy to find if you know the Bhuyangdev landmarks. We have a small nameplate on the door. Sometimes the parking downstairs is a bit tight, especially on weekends. But we’ve made a good life here. We treat our clients like neighbors because many of them are. It’s a simple way of working that has kept us going through the years without needing big advertisements.
