You can find us at No. 205 in the New Cloth Market. It’s a crowded place, especially in the afternoons when everyone is moving goods around on those heavy wooden carts. Ctm Technical Textiles Ltd. has been operating out of this unit for a bit. The market itself is always noisy with people shouting and horns honking, but inside our space, it’s mostly just the smell of heavy fabrics and the sound of packing tape. We don't do the usual fashion stuff. It’s more about the technical side of things, materials that need to be tough and durable. Our shelves are piled high with rolls of cloth that don't look like much but do a specific job. There isn't a lot of room for a front desk or a lobby here. We just have a small desk for paperwork and then it’s straight into the storage and workspace. The floor is concrete and we’ve got some old fans that hum all day to keep the air moving in the heat. Dealing with the traffic around New Cloth Market is the hardest part of the day usually. Sometimes we stay late to finish up an order if the morning was slow. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the textiles get where they need to go. It’s a bit dusty and the lighting could be better, but it works for what we do.
