If you go to the Sursarathi Complex in Ambawadi, you’ll find us at office number 406. We are right across from the Central Bank of India, which is a good landmark if you’re lost. Being near the Adani super market means there’s always something happening nearby. Computer Life Services is located on the fourth floor, so we get a bit of a view of the street below. The lift works most of the time, which is lucky. Our shop is pretty much what you’d expect from a service place. There are computers in various states of being repaired all over the benches. We have a lot of plastic bins filled with screws and small parts that we’ve collected over the years. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are working at the same time. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. People usually just stand by the counter while we take a look at their machines. The heat in Ambawadi can be a bit much in the summer, so the ceiling fan stays on high all day long. We drink a lot of water and just get on with the repairs. It’s a simple routine of opening up, checking the tickets, and fixing what’s broken. We’ve been in this complex for a while, and we know the security guards and the other tenants. It’s a busy, practical life here at 406.
