Bodycare Orthopaedic & Trauma Hospital

We have been here in Ahmedabad for a good while now, right on the third floor of the Bodycare Complex. It is easy to find because the Union Bank is right there. Most days start early with people waiting by the elevators. Being an orthopaedic and trauma hospital means things are often quite busy and loud. We deal with a lot of broken bones, sports injuries, and people who have had accidents on the road. The rooms are usually full and the staff is always moving around. It is not a quiet place, but that is how it goes when you are helping people get back on their feet. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the Ahmedabad heat, but we keep things running. We see a lot of families coming in from the surrounding neighborhoods. The doctors spend a lot of time looking at X-rays and explaining things to worried relatives. It is hard work, especially when the emergency cases come in late at night. We just try to keep the floors clean and the patients comfortable. There is always a smell of antiseptic in the air. The reception desk is usually piled with files and papers. It feels like a second home to those of us who work here every day. We know the tea seller downstairs pretty well by now. It is just a regular hospital doing its part in this part of the city. We do not have anything fancy, just the tools needed for surgery and recovery.
