You can find us at A/64 in the Adarsh2 Industrial Estate. We are right behind the Ashish-Mangalam Cinema in Odhav. The sound of the movies doesn't reach us, but the traffic from the main road certainly does. We work with textiles. It’s a dusty business, honestly. There is lint everywhere, no matter how much we sweep. We’ve got rows of machines that have been running for a long time. They have their own rhythms and quirks. Most of the people working here have been with us for years. We know each other's families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. We aren't trying to be the biggest factory in Gujarat. We just want to produce decent fabric that people can actually use. Sometimes the power goes out and we all have to take a break outside until it comes back. That’s just life in an industrial estate. The office is just a small room with a desk and some old samples hanging on the walls. We don't have a website that looks like it cost a million bucks. We’d rather spend that on keeping the machines oiled. It’s hard work, and your hands get tired by the end of the shift, but it feels good to see the finished rolls of cloth stacked up on the pallets. It keeps us busy and moving.
