Bharti Axa Life Insurance

We spend most of our time here at Rishi Avenue, right across from Shah Colony. If you know the Maninagar area, you probably know how busy it gets near Gordhanvadi Tekra. Our Bharti Axa Life Insurance office is on the ground floor, which is handy because people don't have to climb stairs when they come to see us about their papers. Bhairvnath Road is always humming with noise from rickshaws and people heading to work. Inside, it's just a few desks and chairs. We keep some files stacked up in the corner because there is always a lot of paperwork to go through every day. Sometimes the internet acts up when it gets really hot outside, but we manage. There is a small tea stall just a few steps away where we usually go around four in the afternoon. It’s a pretty simple setup. We’ve been in this part of Ahmedabad for a while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. Most of the people who drop by are from the neighborhood, just walking over from their houses nearby. It is a bit dusty sometimes because of the traffic on the main road, but we keep the fans running. We usually stay busy with phone calls and checking documents until the sun goes down. It’s just how things go here at the office. We don't have fancy decorations, just the basics to get things done. When the monsoon comes, the street gets a bit muddy, but we just keep going. It’s not a very big space, but it works.
