Bhagyalaxmi Store

Our shop is right there in S K 1, at the Amarnath Estate on Dehgam Road. It’s a busy spot in Ahmedabad and we see a lot of people passing by every single day. We opened up Bhagyalaxmi Store because there was a need for a place where someone could just grab what they wanted without much fuss. It gets pretty hot around here in the summer months, so we try to keep things moving fast so nobody has to stand around too long. Most days start early when the deliveries show up and we have to get everything on the shelves before the first crowd arrives. It’s not a huge place, just a regular store where you can find the usual stuff you’d need at home. We’ve got the basics mostly. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside when more than three people show up at once because the aisles aren't that wide. My cousin helps out sometimes when it gets too busy for one person to handle. We know most of the faces that come through the door since they live right around Dehgam Road or work in the nearby estates. There is always something to do, like checking the dates on packets or making sure we haven't run out of sugar or tea. It’s just how things go here. We don't do anything fancy. It's just a shop where we try to keep enough stock so people don't go back empty-handed.
