Back Office Work

Our place is at 11 Saikrupa Soc, which is just opposite the Chandlodiya Railway Station in Ahmedabad. It’s actually quite handy being so close to the tracks, though you definitely hear the trains passing by all day long. We go by the name Back Office Work, which is exactly what happens inside these walls. We aren’t a big firm with hundreds of employees; we are just a small team handling the administrative side of things. It involves a lot of data entry and keeping records straight. Sometimes the pile of work looks huge, but we just take it one file at a time. The Chandlodia area is always active, and being in a society like Saikrupa makes it feel more like a community than a sterile office park. We started doing this because there was a need for someone to handle the boring stuff that no one else wants to do. We don’t have fancy meetings or big presentations. Instead, we have desks piled with papers and computers that are always running. It’s a simple setup. Some of us take the train to get here, which makes the commute easy. The office is a bit crowded when we have a lot of projects going on at once, but we manage. We like the local feel of the neighborhood. It’s just a group of people working hard to make sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle.
