Anandba Mahila Adhyapan Mahavidhyalaya

We are located outside the old Octroi Naka on Karai Gam Road. Our college sits right along National Highway Number 8. Because we are a bit outside the main city center, it feels a lot more open here than in the crowded parts of Ahmedabad. We are a Mahavidhyalaya focused on women’s education. The building is large and has plenty of room for all our activities. Being near the highway means we get a lot of trucks and buses passing by, but the campus itself is set back enough to stay relatively peaceful. It’s a long road out here, and many of our staff and students travel a good distance every day to reach us. We have a simple campus with basic facilities. There are no fancy fountains or high-tech glass buildings here. It’s mostly just brick and concrete, designed for learning. We spend our days going from one classroom to another. During the monsoon, the road to Karai Gam can get a bit muddy, but we manage. We’ve been part of this landscape for a while now, watching the highway get busier every year. It’s a dedicated space for teaching, and we take that work seriously without making a big fuss about it. We just provide a place where women can come to get their degrees and move forward. It is a quiet, steady life here at Anandba Mahila Adhyapan Mahavidhyalaya on the edge of the city.
