Amal Datt Associate operates from Block No 249, which is a KH Type building in Sector 19 of Gandhinagar. Gandhinagar is a lot quieter than some of the other cities around here, which we actually quite like. Our office in Sector 19 is pretty simple. It is a KH type block, which means it has a specific layout that you see a lot in this part of Gujarat. We have our main working area and a small space where we can sit and talk. It’s not a place with shiny marble floors or anything like that. We just have what we need to do our jobs. Most days it is just the sound of typing and the occasional phone call. We get a fair amount of sun through the windows in the afternoon. Sometimes we take a walk around the block just to get some fresh air. People in Sector 19 are generally friendly and it feels like a safe, steady place to be. We’ve been at Block No 249 for a good while now, so we know the routines of the area. We aren't interested in being the biggest firm out there. We just want to do our work properly and go home to our families at the end of the day. That is the way it has always been for us.
