Alpa Patel Art & Beauty Academy

This academy is run out of 11, Kamdhenu Society in Paldi. It’s a residential area, so it feels very much like a home. We are near P T College and just behind the Indian Bank. Alpa Patel Art & Beauty Academy isn’t just about doing makeup; it’s a place where I teach the craft to others. The society is quiet and green, which makes it a nice place to study and practice. We have a dedicated space inside the house where the students gather. There are tables for art supplies and chairs for beauty practice. I’ve spent many years working in this field, and now I mostly enjoy passing that on to the younger generation. We do some bridal work and styling for local clients, but the teaching part takes up a lot of the week. Being near the college helps because many students find us easily. It’s a very informal environment. We drink tea together and talk about different techniques. It’s not like those big corporate schools in the city center. Here, we take our time and focus on the details. Some days the living room is full of sketches and color palettes. Other days, it’s all about hair styling and face painting. It’s a busy house, but there is a lot of creativity happening inside these walls. I’ve lived in Paldi for a long time, so I know almost everyone on the street.
