Alfa Pumps Pvt Ltd is over at number 29 in the Rajni Industrial Estate. We are pretty close to the Gujaratbottling plant in Rakhial, which is how most people find their way to us. It’s an old industrial patch, so the roads can be a bit bumpy depending on the season. Our unit isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s a functional space meant for hard work. We have been here long enough that we know most of the neighbors in the estate. There’s a lot of metalwork and machinery sounds going on throughout the day. You get used to it. The area has that specific smell of grease and dust that you find in manufacturing zones. We don't have a reception area with a sofa or anything like that. People usually just walk into the main area and find whoever they need. Sometimes we leave the big doors open to let some air in when it gets too hot. Dealing with the daily logistics of an industrial estate takes up a lot of our time. Deliveries come and go at all hours. We just focus on getting the pumps handled and out the door. It’s not a quiet job, but it’s what we do. Rakhial is a busy part of the city, and we’re just a small part of that engine. We like being tucked away back here.
