Our office is tucked away on Parthasarathy Naidu Street in Chepauk. If you know Triplicane, you know how crowded and lively it gets around here. Aldan Impex Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this spot at 9/2 for some time now. It’s an old neighborhood with a lot of history, and sometimes the narrow streets make deliveries a bit of a challenge, but we manage. We deal with various goods coming in and going out, mostly handling the logistical side of things. It’s a lot of phone calls, tracking shipments, and making sure the paperwork is in order so nothing gets stuck at the port. The fans are always running in the office because it gets pretty warm in Chennai. We aren't a massive corporation with glass walls; it’s just a practical space where we get the work done. Some days are slow, just waiting for news on a container, and other days it feels like everything is happening at once. We’ve got a few desks, some filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a lot of tea breaks to keep us going. Most of our neighbors are other small businesses or families who have lived in Chepauk for generations. We like being part of the local fabric here. It’s honest work, and we try to do it right without making a big fuss about things. We’re just regular people trying to keep the trade moving smoothly for our clients.
