Advogue Watches

Advogue Watches is tucked into Nirman Complex at number 101. It’s right across from ABC Medical, so we see a lot of people coming and going from there. Sanganva Chowk is always loud and moving. Our shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular place with watches in the windows. We’ve got the old style of doing things. You walk in, and it smells like metal and oil. We spend the morning sorting through boxes of straps and tiny screws. It’s a bit cramped when more than three people come in at once. The light isn't always great, so we use those bright desk lamps. Most of our day is just waiting for the next person to walk through the door with a broken buckle or a dead battery. Sometimes we just sit and watch the traffic out on the street. It’s a good spot to see the city move. People usually find us because they’re already at the medical shop or just wandering around the chowk. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the delicate stuff. It’s steady work. We don't try to be something we're not. We just keep the shop open and take care of what comes across the counter. It is a simple way to spend the day.
