Adlabs Films Ltd.

Adlabs Films Ltd is based at D/2 in the Kirannagar Society, right behind the Maninagar Society in the Manjalpur area of Vadodara. It’s a quiet residential part of town, which is a bit unusual for a film-related business, but we like the peace and quiet. The office is essentially a house that we’ve converted into a workspace. We have different rooms for different tasks. One room is full of computers where the editing happens, and another is just for meetings and storing old reels. Manjalpur is a nice place to be. There are plenty of trees around Kirannagar Society, so it doesn't feel as hot as the rest of Vadodara. The building is a bit older, so the windows sometimes creak when the wind blows. We don't have a big corporate sign outside. It just looks like any other house on the street. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze of cables and desks. We often stay late to finish up projects, so the neighbors are used to seeing our lights on at odd hours. We have a small garden in the front that we try to keep tidy, though the weeds usually win. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We don't wear suits or anything like that. We just come in, do our work, and maybe have some snacks in the kitchen while we talk about the next film project. It’s a good, simple way to run a business in a city like Vadodara.
