You can find us at C 21 A in Nigam Society, on Smruti Mandir Road. We are in the Godhasar area, near the Post GIDC Vatva in Ahmedabad. It is an industrial part of town, so there are a lot of trucks and dust on the roads. Our office is inside a residential society, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than being right on the main road. We do banking work here, mostly keeping track of records and helping with bank stuff. The room has a couple of computers and a printer that sometimes jams. We have some plastic chairs for visitors and a big water jar in the corner. It is a very straightforward setup. We don't spend money on decorations or fancy signs. Most of the people who come here are local workers from the GIDC factories. We talk to them in the local language and help them with their forms. The weather here gets really dry and hot, so we usually have a desert cooler running in the corner to keep the air moving. In the evenings, the society gets quiet as families start their dinner. We finish our logs and lock up for the night. It is a simple routine in a part of Ahmedabad that is always working hard. We are just glad to be a small part of this neighborhood. It works.
