Abs Cabs Service Pvt. Ltd. is located right above the HDFC Bank in the Fatehpura area of Paldi. We are right near Ankur School, so the area gets really crowded when the kids are getting dropped off or picked up. Our office is usually a bit of a mess with driver schedules and logbooks scattered around. We spend most of the day on the phone, talking to drivers who are stuck in Ahmedabad traffic or customers looking for a ride. It’s a busy environment and the phones never really stop ringing. Sometimes a driver calls out sick and we have to scramble to find a replacement so nobody is left waiting. We are just a local cab service trying to keep things moving in the city. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The office is small and we often have drivers coming in and out to settle their accounts or pick up instructions. We’ve been in Paldi for quite a while and people in the neighborhood know where to find us. There is always someone brewing a pot of tea in the back to help us get through the long shifts. We don't have a big corporate structure, just a team of people trying to manage a fleet of cars. It can be chaotic at times, especially during the monsoon when the roads are bad, but we manage to get through it somehow.
