A K Hair N Care

A K Hair N Care is tucked away in Dhanji Bhai Ni Chali, right near the Sonal Cross Roads in the Memnagar part of town. We are very close to Sharda School, so we hear the school bell ringing all day long and see the kids running around in their uniforms. It’s a local spot that doesn't look like much from the outside. We have a small sign, but most people know us just by the location. The shop is quite modest. We have the usual chairs and some old cupboards where we keep our towels and tools. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fan running on high. Memnagar has changed a lot over the years, with more traffic and buildings, but our little corner has stayed mostly the same. We know most of the families living in the chali and the surrounding streets. People come in for a haircut and end up staying for twenty minutes just to talk about their day. We don't have any of those fancy spa treatments or anything like that. It’s just a place to get your hair cut without any fuss. The mirrors are a bit spotted and the floor is worn down in the spots where we stand the most. We just show up every day, do the work, and go home to our families. It’s a quiet life here near the school and the busy roads. We like the way things are around this neighborhood.
