Infosys Bpo

Our Infosys Bpo setup is located at Sonai, in the Newasa Taluka of the Ahmednagar district. It is a fairly rural part of Maharashtra, quite far from the big tech hubs like Pune or Mumbai. Being out here means things are a lot different than the city offices. The surroundings are mostly agricultural land, and the town of Sonai has a very local, traditional feel to it. The office is a practical space where we handle the work for this region. It is not a fancy glass building; it is more of a functional structure that fits into the local area. During the summers, it gets quite hot, so we rely a lot on the fans and the occasional breeze coming through the windows. Most of the people working here are from nearby villages, so there is a strong sense of community. We usually know each other's families and what is going on in the town square. We do not have a big corporate culture with team-building exercises and all that stuff. We just come in, do our shifts, and go back to our lives. The internet can be a bit tricky sometimes out here, but we manage to keep things running most of the time. It is a quiet place to work compared to the big city noise. We mostly just focus on our computers and try to stay productive. It is a humble sort of place, really, just people working hard in their own hometown.
