We operate our business, Consulting, in Ahmednagar, right opposite the Hotel Sayantara on Gulmohar Road in the Savedi area. Our building is called Ajinkyatara. It’s a familiar landmark for most people who live around here. Savedi is a nice part of town, and Gulmohar Road stays pretty busy with shops and people walking around. We handle consulting for local businesses and individuals. The office itself is quite simple. We have a few chairs for visitors and a couple of old desks where we do all our typing and filing. It’s not a large place, but it’s enough for what we do. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, so we know the other shopkeepers and the folks who work in the hotel across the street. Sometimes we go over there for lunch if we have a long day or if we just need a change of scenery. We don’t do any big advertising. Usually, someone just mentions our name to a friend, and they show up at our door. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it works for us. We like the personal connection we have with the people who come in. There’s no corporate ladder or big boss here; it’s just us working together to get the job done. If the fan is making a clicking noise, we just ignore it and keep going. That’s just life in a small office in Ahmednagar. We find that being honest and straightforward helps us get through the day without much trouble.
