Being at Manmohan Complex is interesting because we are right behind the police station. It’s a bit of a landmark for people trying to find us. We are also near the railway crossing, so we definitely hear the trains going by a few times a day. It’s one of those sounds you just get used to after a week or two. Navrangpura is always moving, and our spot in complex number 12 is right in the thick of it. The building has been there for a while, and it shows in some of the corners, but it’s a good place to work. There are plenty of other small businesses around us, so it feels like we are part of a community of people just trying to make a living. We don't have any fancy signage or a big lobby. You just come in, and there we are. The walk from the crossing can be a bit dusty, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We usually keep the fans going all day to stay cool. It’s a simple life here, really. We show up, do the work that needs doing, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s not a flashy lifestyle, but it’s our reality in Ahmedabad. Most of us enjoy the local snacks you can get just around the corner during our breaks. It is just a practical space where we spend our working hours.
