We work out of the Ganesh Genesis building, specifically in office I-1001. It’s near Jagatpur Village on the outskirts of Ahmedabad. The area is a bit quieter than the city center, which is a relief if you don't like constant honking. We handle software for procurement here, so there’s a lot of coding and technical talk happening all day. The office space is okay, nothing too special to look at. We have a few rows of computers and a small corner for making tea or coffee. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we manage to get things done. Jagatpur has changed a lot lately, with more buildings going up every month. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now. The staff mostly comes in from the surrounding neighborhoods. We aren't one of those big tech giants with a full cafeteria; we usually bring our own tiffins from home and eat together. You can see the village area from some of the windows, which is a bit of a contrast to the new apartments. It’s an honest day's work for us. We spend a lot of time on calls and fixing bugs. The furniture is a bit mismatched because we bought things as we needed them over the last few years. It feels like a real workplace, not a staged photo for a website. We just focus on keeping things running for our users and making sure the software doesn't crash. It's a simple life here.
