Modam Information Technolgy Private Limited is based in the Satellite area of Ahmedabad. We are up on the fourth floor of Vraj Vihar-Vi, in unit 403/A. It’s a good spot because we are right opposite Tejdhara and behind Rahul Tower, so it’s easy to tell people how to find us. Satellite is a busy part of town, so there is always a bit of noise from the traffic downstairs, but we’ve gotten used to it. The office is where we spend most of our time, just working through information technology tasks and trying to keep our systems running. It isn't a massive corporate floor with hundreds of employees. Instead, it’s a small group of us who have been doing this for a while. We have some plants by the window that we sometimes forget to water, and there are always coffee mugs sitting around. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just focus on the work that needs to be done. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we take the stairs. It’s a normal, everyday kind of place. We started this because we wanted to have our own setup and do things our way without too much red tape. It’s been a learning process, and we’ve had our share of long nights, but that is how a small business grows. We just take it one day at a time.
