Empire It Systems is tucked away on the seventh floor of Q-Block in Shyam Hills. If you know the New Ranip area, we’re right near the G.S.T. Crossing and behind the Sawan bungalows. Being up on the seventh floor gives us a bit of a view, though it’s mostly just the rooftops of the nearby houses. It’s a busy part of town, especially with the crossing nearby, so there’s always something happening outside. Inside the office, it’s a lot more focused. We’ve got our computers set up and we spend most of the day looking at code or talking through system issues. It’s not a fancy setup with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a standard office space where we can sit down and do the work we need to do. We moved in here because it was convenient for everyone to get to. Sometimes the lift takes a while, so you end up waiting a bit, but that’s just part of being in a big block like Shyam Hills. We’re just a regular team of people who know their way around IT systems. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. As long as the electricity stays on and the computers are running, we’re good to go. It’s a practical place for a practical job. We’re usually here from morning until the sun goes down, just getting through the daily tasks.
