Our office is at B/303 in Sugam Avenue, which is part of the Sugam Apartments in Paldi. We are situated right opposite the Mahalaxmi Complex on the road that leads toward Vikas Gruh. Paldi is a nice area, a bit more settled than some of the newer parts of Ahmedabad. The building we are in is a mix of residential and commercial spaces, so you see a lot of different people coming and going. Our unit on the third floor is a simple setup. We have a few rows of desks and some cupboards for all the stuff that accumulates over time. The windows look out onto the street, and we can see the shoppers going into Mahalaxmi Complex throughout the day. Parking our scooters can be a bit tricky when the complex gets busy, but we usually find a spot eventually. Inside, it’s pretty quiet for the most part, except for the sound of the fans and the occasional phone ringing. We don’t have a big fancy lobby, just a simple door and a place to leave your shoes at the entrance sometimes. It’s a practical workspace where we spend our hours. Most of us have been here long enough that the commute feels like second nature. We just get in, do the work, and occasionally head out to the local tea stall when we need a change of scenery. It’s a decent, honest place to earn a living without any extra bells or whistles.
