Spicy Spoon

Spicy Spoon is a small eatery we run in Kamla Nagar, Agra. We are located at B-8, which is a pretty easy spot to find if you are familiar with this part of town. Agra is famous for a lot of things, but for us, it’s just home. We’ve lived in Kamla Nagar for years, so opening a restaurant here felt like the right move. The place isn't very large. We have a few tables inside and the kitchen takes up most of the back area. We focus on basic Indian dishes that people eat every day. I usually handle the billing and talk to the regulars who come in. We have a lot of people who stop by for a quick dinner on their way home. It’s not a place for a fancy party, just somewhere to get a meal. The noise from the street can be a bit much sometimes, but that is Agra for you. We don't have a big menu because we want to make sure what we do have is done right. Every morning we get our supplies from the local mandi. It’s hard work, but we like it. We don't use any corporate talk here. We are just a local family trying to run a decent business. If you are around B-8 and feeling hungry, you are welcome to come in. We will do our best to make you feel comfortable while you eat.
