At Vatsel Footwear Exports Pvt. Ltd., we spend most of our time dealing with shoes. Our office is over at No. 32-a in Space Vatika, which is part of the Sikandra area. It's a decent spot, though sometimes the parking is a bit of a mess. We mostly focus on the export side of things, so there is always a lot of paperwork and boxes moving around. Dealing with footwear means there is always a specific smell of leather and rubber in the air here. Some people might find it strong but we are used to it by now. We aren't a giant corporation with hundreds of people in suits. We are just a group of folks making sure the shoes get to where they are supposed to go. Space Vatika is a quiet enough place to work most days. A lot of time is spent on the phone with shipping companies and checking quality in the back. Sometimes things get delayed and we have to stay late to fix it. It’s not a glamorous job but it pays the bills and keeps us busy. We don't have a big front desk or a receptionist greeting everyone. If you come by, you’ll probably just find one of us moving crates or checking a list. The work is honest and that’s enough for us. It keeps us going day after day.
