Show Time Orchestra

Show Time Orchestra is located at number 68 in Pushpanjai Ashiyana, which is on the UPSIDC Road in the Sikandra area of Agra. We aren’t right in the middle of the tourist spots, but we like it here because it gives us a bit of space to keep our instruments and gear. The house is often filled with the sound of someone practicing or checking the sound equipment. We are a group of people who just really like music and performance. Most of our work happens in the evenings or on weekends when there are parties or gatherings that need a bit of live sound. We spend a lot of time loading up vans and driving to different spots around Agra. It’s not always glamorous work; there’s a lot of heavy lifting and tangled cables involved. We’ve been playing together for a long time, so we have a feel for what people like to hear, but we don’t treat it like some big corporate show. It’s more like a community service where we bring the music. Sometimes we are tired after a long night, but we still have to get up and organize the equipment for the next gig. The Sikandra neighborhood is quiet enough that we can get our work done during the day. We just keep our heads down and focus on the notes and the rhythm, trying to make sure the sound is clear for whoever is listening.
