Discover Our India

We set up Discover Our India in a small spot at Hig-106 in Nehru Enclave. It’s right near Jhon Milton School, so we hear the school bells and the kids throughout the day. Basically, we spend our time looking at maps and booking tickets for people who want to see different parts of the country. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and talking on the phone with hotels or train offices. We started this because we liked traveling ourselves, and it seemed better than working in a bank. Samsabad is a busy area, so there’s always people walking by. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just some posters on the walls and a few computers that sometimes run a bit slow. We try to keep track of all the new routes and which hotels are actually decent. It’s a lot of paperwork, honestly. Checking dates, verifying names, and making sure the times all line up so nobody gets stuck at a bus station in the middle of the night. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know the roads. When someone comes in, we just sit down and talk about where they want to go. It’s mostly just trying to make sure people have a decent trip without too many hiccups along the way. Sometimes the internet goes down, but we find a way to get the bookings done regardless.
